The client was a international bank, and they were going to launch a new DM campaign. However, they find the conversion rate too low the previous time, they want to increase the conversion rate, and let the sales department focus on clients more likely to success rather than just approaching everyone.

Our Solution

This is actually a typical way of machine learning (ML) application. With data, the first thing we did was customer segmentation by ML, and then we forecasted the successful rate of each individual client (yes, individual, it doesn’t matter if you have thousands or tens of thousands of them). With all these done, the client was able to zero in those clients with best odds, and greatly improve the conversion rate to about 38%.
